Act — 03 · Therapy

IV therapy

Intravenous nutritional support where the oral route is inadequate or absorption is impaired. Prescribed individually, after assessment. There is no menu.

What it is

Every intravenous preparation given here is prescribed by a physician after individual clinical assessment and prepared for that patient. We do not sell fixed formulations and we do not supply preparations without assessment.

Indications are specific: reduced oral intake, impaired absorption, documented deficiency, increased demand in defined clinical circumstances. Composition, volume and any repetition are decided case by case and reviewed as the clinical picture changes.

Infusions are administered in clinic under supervision. We make no detoxification claims and no cosmetic claims.

What happens

  1. 01Clinical assessment, history and medication review
  2. 02Bloods reviewed or requested where indicated

  4. 04Administration in clinic under supervision, with observation afterwards

Who it is for

  • People with a documented deficiency that oral supplementation has not corrected
  • Patients with impaired absorption or reduced intake
